PREMIER CRU
100% Meunier
BLANC DE NOIRS
FINE AND MATURE
Its Origin,
La Vallée de la Marne
Terroir “Rive Gauche”:
Mareuil the port, Leuvrigny, Festigny.
Sculpted by its river, the Marne Valley begins on leaving Épernay in the direction of Château Thierry and offers magnificent microclimatic perspectives.
The soils here are deep and complex, made up of clay, clayey silt, silica sand, fossils, sandstone and limestone. They see the Meunier reign over gently sloping hillsides. Still cold in spring, the soils induce a development of the vine traditionally staggered but compensated by the shorter vegetative cycle of this grape variety.
Very quickly expressive and generous, Meunier wines combine tenderness, yellow stone fruit flesh, volume, tropical sensations and bakery notes.
